The Hermitage De-Addiction & Pain Relief Centre

The Hermitage is the second step in the recovery process started at Bhatia Neuropsychiatric Hospital and De-addiction Centre. This secondary care rehabilitation facility was begun in order to help prevent relapses and holistically defeat addiction and give the addict a new self respect. While at Hermitage, the recovering addict will stay in an air-conditioned room, with hot shower rooms, a double bed, and fridge. The gymnasium offers fitness sessions with modern equipment as well as sports like cricket, volleyball, and badminton. Also included in the recovery regimen is drama therapy, yoga, and meditation.

Recovery at the Hermitage involves a variety of treatment and therapy methods which holistically work together to bring freedom to the individual. Recovering addicts will take part in therapeutic group counselling, one to one therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, drama therapy, spiritual meetings, addiction education, family counselling, life skills management, relapse prevention, spirituality therapy, meditation therapy, yoga therapy, fitness therapy, recreational therapy, and after-care program.
