Spirit of Freedom Psychiatric and Rehabilitation Center began in 2008. Mr. Sekar founded the centre with a simple mission: “help us to help you in creating a drug free society.” The centre offers well planned, professional care by a team of experts. Each patient will work through various phases of treatment in order to properly help him or her through the process. Spirit of Freedom uses the Twelve Steps with various other additions. A unique focus of the centre is an emphasis on physical fitness and growth throughout treatment.

Another excellent focus of the centre is the family program. Spirit of Freedom realizes that addiction does not hurt just one person, but many. The centre works with the entire family through the recovery process.

While the patient is being treated at Spirit of Freedom, he or she will enjoy the facilities that are offered. The centre has 15 beds, special therapy units, counseling units, library, and a recreation center.

Spirit of Freedom has established chemical dependency service to address various problems which can arise in the lives of chemically dependent individuals, families and the society. The primary proposal of our service, is to help the chemically dependent individuals, establish total abstinence from psychoactive substances, and to assist them and their families in developing and maintaining a holistic, healthier and more functional life style.
